FAQ
Fair questions, straight answers
The short version: ships from USA in 2–6 days, 30-day returns, and a real human at homecoat.store@gmail.com. The long version:
Where do you ship from, and how long does delivery take?
Every order ships from within the USA and typically arrives in 2–6 business days. You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your order is on the move.
What's your return policy?
30 days, no interrogation. If a product isn't working out for you or your dog, email us at homecoat.store@gmail.com and we'll sort out the return. Dogs are unpredictable; returns shouldn't be.
How do I track my order?
You'll receive a tracking link by email once your order ships. If the email is playing hide-and-seek (check spam first), write to homecoat.store@gmail.com with your order number and we'll resend it.
Will a grooming vacuum scare my dog?
Most dogs need a short introduction period — a few sessions starting with the vacuum off, treats flowing, then low power. Within a week, most file it under 'weird massage.' Our guide comparing grooming vacuums to regular brushing covers the acclimation steps.
Which tool do I need for my dog's coat?
Double coat (retrievers, shepherds, huskies): a deshedding tool or grooming vacuum. Short single coat (boxers, beagles): a rubber brush or grooming mitt is plenty. When in doubt, email us a photo of your dog and we'll point you to the right tool — no upselling, promise.
Do calming beds actually work?
For most dogs, yes — raised edges and soft, den-like materials give anxious dogs a consistent place to decompress, which lowers overall stress. They work best as part of a routine: same bed, same spot, predictable days.
How do I pay? Is checkout secure?
Checkout runs through Shopify, the same secure platform used by millions of stores. We never see or store your card details.
How do I reach a human?
Email homecoat.store@gmail.com — a person (with a dog nearby) reads every message. You can also find us as @homecoat.us on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
